The Challenging Conversations and Complicated Spaces: Titiro whakamuri, kia anga whakamua – Sexual and Domestic Violence Specialist Services reflecting forward conference was held in September 2019 in Wellington. The conference was organised by the National Coalition of Domestic Violence Specialist Service Providers. The coalition is formed of representatives from the National Collective of Independent Women's Refuges (NCIWR) and Te Kupenga Whakaoti Mahi Patunga | National Network of Stopping Violence Services (TKWMP|NNSVS).

The Ministry of Justice is asking the public to give quick brief feedback about their opinions on the criminal justice system and how it could be improved. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete the online survey with several multiple-choice questions. This builds on the justice reform work, Hāpaitia te Oranga Tangata – Safe and Effective Justice.
