The New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse is advertising for a Research Fellow.

This role provides an opportunity to support development of the NZFVC research platform, in conjunction with the NZFVC Co-Directors.

The New Zealand Family Violence Clearinghouse is your national centre for research and information on family and whānau violence in Aotearoa New Zealand. We provide information and resources for people working towards the elimination of family violence. The Clearinghouse is based at the School of Population Health, University of Auckland.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Supporting the Co-Directors to meet current research objectives and to develop an ongoing programme of research
  • Managing assigned tasks and working to high standards to enhance the research team performance
  • Contributing to the research team decisions about strategic research issues.

Specific tasks may include:

  • Research study design
  • Preparation of research grant and ethics applications
  • Data and data management
  • Data analysis (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Writing of research reports, issues papers, and journal articles as required. 

This is a fixed term position for 20 hours per week for 18 months.
