The Pacific Island Safety and Prevention Project ("the Project") has closed.
Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency Pasifika Futures is working in partnership with the organisation to ensure that all families who were engaged with the organisation under the Whānau Ora programme are supported to transition successfully to other support services.
The Project provided services to Pacific women, children and families for 30 years. Pasifika Futures acknowledged the contribution the organisation and its staff have made to Pacific communities, and in particular the contribution they made to Nga vaka o kāiga tapu: A Pacific conceptual framework to address family violence in New Zealand.
