MSD releases Community Investment Strategy Update 2016

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) has published an update on the Community Investment Strategy.

The Community Investment Strategy Update 2016 reports on progress for the first year of the Strategy, plans for the next 12 months and how the Strategy aligns with the new Ministry for Vulnerable Children, Oranga Tamariki. The update includes a summary of the use of data to inform planning including the Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI), line-by-line review of programmes funded by MSD, redirection of funding and changing approachs to contracting.

MSD has also outlined details of the funding reprioritising.

The update notes that "The dates and opportunities for stakeholder engagement will be set out in a stakeholder engagement plan, which will be published on MSD’s website in September 2016." (Page 9).
